On day 9 of your tour, you will be traveling from the Kolkata to Sundarban. This day will also stay early for you in the morning. After an early morning breakfast meal, you will be leaving for Godkhali and then for the boat jetty. The road drive from Kolkata city to Godkhali would take around three hours. When you will reach the jetty, you will then be boarding a motor boat for the Sunderban Island. You will cross multiple rivers as well as streams including the Hooghly, Durgaduani, the Gomar, Gumdi etc. After a 2-hour boat cruise, you will be reaching the Sundarbans Island. Upon your arrival here, you will then be transferred to an amazing wildlife resort.
Have your lunch there, and then explore this National Park in motor boat with some stoppages and watch tower at Sajnekhali. Here, you will also be visiting the museum as well as the mangrove interpretation-centre. Your watch tower stoppage will give you a chance to witness the wildlife there as well as the birds from too close.
